The circumstances of the subsequent process of adaptation? It seems not easy to get used to life on another continent, among others.

First, a lot of things simply frightened, as the trip here in China-town, – everything, almost, as in jokes about the Chinese. Or even the urban transport. Of course, the first few months of discomfort was very noticeable.
Again – urban transport in New York City subway stations are dirty, obodrannye, a pile of rats, after the Moscow subway that was a real shock. There stations are built entirely on another principle – they are completely deprived of any creativity. In New York subway is just a transport. In addition, in the summer of subway incredibly stuffy.
It was hard to get used to even money. Dollars from us, and in U.S. dollars – the money is different. But eventually, over time, much accustomed to.

If I had gone there about the money, tell about how you earned them?

First I tried to find work in the specialty. I found places that meet my education and my skills. Sent a resume, call me, but, unfortunately, none of the vacancies I was not allowed to work. It all comes down to the fact that Russia did not meet their degree requirements. I started working in the restaurant. Where he worked in the room, and bar and even in several positions. It is difficult to explain. Yes, and the public services in the States works differently. But his first salary, I remember, $ 40, which I spent for the services of mobile communication.

After the disappearing sense of novelty, there is nostalgia. What you are most lacking in the ocean?

I am sad for his friends. While in Russia the life outside of work is very interesting and rich, this is where all of the other, there is a lot of free time, and sometimes just do not know what to take. Lack of people who are part of your life. Communication which we have at home, there can not be replaced. Another clear difference to American young people is to understand the holidays. If you are accepted to go on the beer almost every day, then there is the case only on the weekends.

Tell a few words about the friendships and communicating with the girls.

There is a joke: the girls are beautiful on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. Meet a girl for one night or the night easily. Girls in the city that never sleeps, they know what they want. But long-term relationship, no one starts, still, people do not marry before 30. As for me, a sense in New York is very subtle. People involved in careers, formation, and marriage is often just part of life’s business plan.

As far as New York, which we are accustomed to seeing in films is different from the New York real?

New York is very different, depending on the area quarter. If you walk ten minutes, then just come from one country to another. A whole city has one thing in common – a lot of yellow taxi. A movie about how we look, the city of «CSI: New York», not much different from reality. Many students  have sufficient understanding of the illusory New York: Manhattan, 5 th Avenue. But this is just the business quarter of the city and, consequently, a street, which housed most branded stores: Prada, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Dior, Givenchy. But for me New York is any particular magic. There, you can feel every day in another way.

And if you talk about the differences between Americans and other nations mentality, as it is called?

Americans have a very special attitude to money. For me no problem paying someone for coffee or beer, and then this coffee you will remember for a long time. So we can hold together the time, but my money is my money and yours – is yours. Another is – trust. There, as if no friends – each for itself, such laws of genre. But at the same time, there are a lot of nice, free communication, which is to what did not oblige. American smile is a part of everyday life, and I do not think this is false.

What you first of all struck by his return to home?

The shop where I buy food, I do not have the package. In general, I constantly have the impression that people do not know their place. This is particularly true for services.

Sure. I share the idea of people who wish to live and work in the New York. Life in America, more measured, there is confidence in what you do, and stability, which we are lacking here.
This sounds a bit strange, but at the same time as the opportunities offered in the States, there is fear, in which Americans live. In metropolitan areas, such as New York is a very perceptible. In any case, no. So I would like to live there, work, but only up to the time when my children will be born. America is not a country for life in a direct understanding of the word.
